Who we are
Packshot Studio is operated by LuVi ApS, a company incorporated in Denmark. LuVi ApS is the data controller for all personal data collected via packshotstudio.ai and packshotstudio.com. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy-related matter.
What we collect
We collect two categories of data:
- Enquiry data — when you submit the contact or sample-quote form, we collect your email address and any other details you choose to share (brand name, product category, volume estimate, free-text message).
- Store URL — on the homepage, you may enter your store URL so we can fetch your publicly available product images and generate a sample packshot set. We also log the store URLs submitted (with coarse, non-identifying metadata such as country and timestamp) to operate, secure and improve the service. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving Packshot Studio (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not collect any data automatically beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service.
How we use your data
We use the data you submit to:
- Respond to your enquiry and answer any questions you have;
- Generate and send your sample packshots — when you provide your email, that is the consent point at which we begin generating your sample set;
- Prepare an indicative quote if you request one.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing. We will not sell or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Lawful basis
We process your data on two lawful bases under GDPR Art. 6:
- Art. 6(1)(a) — Consent. By submitting the form you consent to us using your details to generate and send sample packshots and to reply to your enquiry. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).
- Art. 6(1)(b) — Pre-contractual steps. Where you are requesting a quote or sample as a preliminary step toward a possible service agreement, we also rely on this basis to process your details.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for up to 12 months from the date of receipt, unless we enter into a service agreement with you — in that case, we retain the data for as long as required by applicable law (including Danish accounting rules) and then delete it.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if inaccurate, to have it erased ("right to be forgotten"), to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Right to complain
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet):
